What is the difference between urgent care and the ER?

Urgent care is designed for non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention, such as minor injuries, illnesses and sports physicals. The emergency room (ER) handles more severe, life-threatening situations. According to recent studies, urgent care patients wait less time and pay less for medical services than they would in an emergency room.

What types of services do you provide?

Northwest Urgent Care offers a wide variety of care for illnesses and injuries. We are equipped to diagnose and treat illnesses like colds, flu, ear infections, pink eye, sinus infections and more. We also treat injuries like broken bones, sprains, strains, minor burns, and cuts. Sports physicals are also provided. We care for adults and children of all ages.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is necessary for urgent care. Walk-ins are welcome, but patients are also able to self-schedule and see real-time availability online.

How does online scheduling work?

Northwest Urgent Care uses InQuicker to allow you to choose your arrival time or schedule a virtual visit. You are able to see real-time availability and choose the time that works best for you.

How do virtual visits work?

Use the link for "virtual visit" to schedule online. Once you have scheduled, you will receive an appointment confirmation by text or email with your visit link, which you can access using a camera-enabled smartphone, computer, or tablet. Remember, you must be in Arizona in order to have a virtual visit.
